A fast growing automotive parts business is looking for a dynamic, energetic Accountant to join a growing accounting department. The position offers individual growth potential as the company expands.
The Accountant position is responsible bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation including preparing journal entries and reconciliation of all general ledger accounts.
Responsibilities
⢠Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
⢠Prepare, oversee and publish timely monthly financial statements
⢠Prepare month-end and year-end close
⢠Ensure daily quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
⢠Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
⢠Manage accounting clerical employees, set goals, provide ongoing training and monitor progress
⢠Provide bank with monthly financial statements
⢠Collaborate with outside CPA firm.
⢠Additional accounting duties as necessary
Requirements
⢠Proven experience as a seasoned Accountant
⢠-7+ years of overall combined accounting experience
⢠Minimum Bachelor's degree in accounting
⢠Excellent computer skills. Working knowledge of QuickBooks, and ERP financial systems.
⢠Have strong interpersonal skills
⢠Exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas
⢠Highly energetic individual who thrives in a competitive and fast-paced environment
Must have inventory experience.
