A stable consumer goods distribution leader is in search of an experienced business to business Billing Clerk. The right candidate is self-motivated and able to meet deadlines under minimum supervision.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, no weekends.
Position Description:
Gather, process, and disburse information related to billing. Create documentation relevant to billing activities. Communicate with relevant parties regarding account and billing issues.
The qualified individual will be responsible for:
Make collection calls and communicate with customers via phone, email and mail
Investigate and resolve customer inquiries on outstanding balances or payments
Process credit application and evaluate credit risk periodically
Collect payments or setup financial arrangement
Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
Process statements
Interface with Sales team representatives
Monitor customer account details for non payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
Maintain customer files and confidential records
Other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bilingual Spanish required
1-2 years minimum experience in any of the following;
Customer Service/Administrative Support
Billing/Collections
Ability to follow instructions, meet strict deadlines
Intermediate Microsoft skills. Specifically; Excel, Word, and Outlook
Positive attitude
Pleasant disposition over the phone
Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
Self-motivated, hardworking, detail oriented
