Assistant Professor, Health Services PsychologyDescriptionThe University of Houston-Clear Lake invites applications for two tenure track Assistant Professor positions starting January 2021 or August 2021. The faculty members will teach in the Health Service Psychology (Combined Clinical and School Psychology) programs and either the Clinical Psychology Master’s Program or the NASP-approved specialist-level School Psychology program. The Health Service Psychology and Clinical and School Psychology programs are housed within the College of Human Sciences and Humanities.Duties:
Responsibilities include teaching two classes per semester (fall and spring) as well as student advising and participation on college, program, and departmental committees.
QualificationsRequired:1. Qualified candidates will have earned doctorates in school or clinical psychology (or combined program) from an APA-accredited program.2. Qualified candidates should hold or be eligible for licensure as a psychologist (i.e., Licensed Psychologist). Candidates interested in teaching in the School Psychology program should also hold or be eligible for licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology.3.
