Associate Director - Procurement & Supply Chain

Procurement & supply chain specialist to support a client with developing a strategy to manage their portfolio of projects, and then working with the team to execute the strategy. This will include developing the overall delivery approach for portfolio management, including the procurement strategy, contracting strategy and commercial arrangements, as well as executing procurement processes and RFPs, awarding contracts, and then managing contracts and closing them upon complete.The role will require travel from time to time to client / Turner & Townsend offices which will be agreed with the team and the client.Responsibilities:  Lead end-to-end procurement and contract negotiations for major packages, including pricing, schedule, risk allocation, escalation mechanisms, and performance incentives.Develop and execute procurement and commercial strategies aligned with project delivery, cost, and risk objectives.Manage the full contract lifecycle (drafting, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeout) for high-value, complex agreements.Drive change management processes, including evaluation of variation orders, cost impacts, and contractual entitlement.Ensure commercial governance, compliance, and audit readiness in line with regulated industry standards.Assess supplier and contractor capabilities, cost structures, and performance to support fact-based negotiations.Partner with Legal, Project Controls, and Engineering to ensure contracts are robust, executable, and risk balanced.Develop and monitor commercial KPIs, including cost savings, contract compliance, claims exposure, and supplier performance.Support continuous improvement of procurement, contracting, and commercial management processes.SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
