Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: The Bilingual Customer Service Representative is responsible for answering queued phone calls in a timely manner and responding effectively to customer inquiries. This position requires the ability to be punctual, friendly, and detail oriented.Possess proper phone etiquette with the ability to handle up to 100 incoming queue calls timely
Ability to multi-task in between calls to assist other departments as needed
Ability to adapt to computer software and be keyboard proficient
Allocate time for follow-up on customer requests
Educate customers on how the meters are read and/or how a leak can be identified
Assist customers with making credit card/eCheck payments and setting up Auto Pay
Research account history and create work orders in Adjutant as needed
Record details of conversations with the customer and any action taken
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to communicate professionally; both orally and in writing
Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude at all times
Be self-motivated, organized, and flexible
QUALIFICATIONS:Professional appearance
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in administrative duties
Strong adaptable computer skills
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE:Able to take direction, multi-task, perform work safely and communicate in written and verbal form
Ability to perform all essential duties and responsibilities listed above
Able to effectively use common office equipment
Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent time management and attention to detail
Ability to learn and become proficient with new software, education and/or experience
Ability to work and interact well with departments throughout the organization
Must be self-motivated, possess self-initiative, work well independently, but also be a team player
Must be able to communicate in a professional manner and respond with timeliness
Able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management
Ability to prioritize projects frequently
Regular attendance is an essential function of this position
Bilingual is preferred, but not required
