SUMMARYSupervise all operations of receiving, storing, and issuing of supplies in a widely diversified warehouse. The Campus Services Technician impacts the successful operation of a warehouse by insuring that prescribed procedures for the receipt and disbursement of supplies are followed completely in all transactions.JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIESReceives and processes customer request in current CMMS (MainSaver) Process stock issues and special orders into material request / purchase requisitions within current CMMS (MainSaver) according to prescribed procedures. Review special orders and collaborates with requestors to leverage available stock when possible. Review customer's requests for cost savings with respect to given time constraints and available information with or without Facility Manager's assistance. Assist customers with retrieving quotes and identifying alternate vendors and products. Reviews CMMS (MainSaver) purchase requisitions for accuracy, completeness and ability to process. Files documentation according to prescribed procedures.Oversees the receiving, inspection, and storage of all materials received at thewarehouse Oversees or participates in all aspects of receiving and delegates tasks to Storekeeper on an as needed basis to insure orderly and efficient flow, and successful operations. Insures that prescribed procedures for the receiving of supplies are followed completely in all transactions. Pulls bill of lading and checks delivery for completeness and conformity with original order. In case of discrepancies, rejects shipment and refers to Inventory Support Assistant or Facility Manager. Receives incoming material manually, or by material handling equipment. Unloads trucks and physically inspects materials for physical damage. Immediately reports damage to Inventory Support Assistance or Facility Manager for resolution. Receives orders in current CMMS system (MainSaver) and files bill of lading according to established process. Shelves and organizes received items in their proper location within the warehouse. Receives material transfers, checks for completeness and shelves items.Oversees pulling, packing, and issuance of all outgoing material at the warehouse Oversees or participates in all aspects of order issuance and delegates tasks to Storekeeper on an as needed basis to insure orderly and efficient flow, and successful operations. Insures that prescribed procedures for the issuing of supplies and outgoing shipments are followed completely in all transactions. Retrieve and review orders ready to issue and ship (complete / partial) within CMMS. Applies tracking labels to order documents ready to be pulled. Oversees or participates in material being pulled and packaged from inventory and inspects order for completeness prior to shipment. Reviews special order material received for order completeness and provides documentation and tracking for package preparation. Reviews material transfers and material ordered from satellite storeroom stocking location for completeness and applies stock number labels to material and provides tracking to documentation. Issues material to members of other departments using current CMMS system (MainSaver). Make deliveries as needed while following prescribed procedures.Inventory Support and Customer Service Primary customer point of contact for allmatters regarding material request and stocked inventory. Tracks down material request that did not arrive or were miss dropped. Responds to customers inquiries regarding ETAs. Includes following up with Inventory Support Assistants or vendors directly on status of POs and communicates to customers and documents notes within current CMMS (MainSaver). Queries unfulfilled material requests on a daily basis and follows up with Inventory Support Assistants or with vendors directly regarding ETA's. Documents notes within current CMMS (MainSaver). Follows up with Inventory Support Assistants to resolve issues with vendors. Assists Technicians and Work Control with setting up correct inventory within current CMMS (MainSaver) according to equipment specification. Assist customers with initiating the return process. Performs periodic inventory cycle counts to match and maintain physical stock levels according to CMMS system (MainSaver). Review inventory and make order point and max-on hand recommendations based on usage in order to minimize stock outs. Assists with tracking and reviewing non-stock material usage and collaborates with customers and Inventory Supports Assistants to determine if material needs to be added to inventory. Assist in determining what items will be deleted or added from stock as requested by mission area Work Control. Creates new stock records and deactivating existing ones as needed in current CMMS (MainSaver). Oversees or participates in all aspects of warehouse cleaning and delegates tasks to Warehouse Worker on an as needed basis. Routinely inspects warehouse space to insure debris is free from floor and shelving and warehouse space is organized in an efficient manner. Maintains warehouse equipment in a satisfactory manner. Reports warehouse equipment maintenance and repair needs to Inventory Support Assistant or Facility Manager.High school diploma or equivalent.
