You understand product development, software engineering methods and practices and have an in-depth knowledge of software architecture. You as a professional understand the practicalities of solution architecture, both the technical and cost viability of solutions for real world security problems.This position requires a member who is a team player, who collaborates well with business and technical leadership alike. You are a mentor and role model for the numerous talented engineers developing their career at IBM security. You incubate and try many ideas, you are not afraid to fail, you are prepared to take risks and ultimately to propose the successful organic developments or inorganic alternatives for future success.This role includes a significant calendar of speaking engagements, analyst relations, client interaction and support of deal making.Your Responsibilities
Lead the evolution of next generation solution architecture.
Lead customer user groups to gain feedback on strength of solution and future use cases.
Interact with IBM Research and other IBM Business units to seed game changing innovations.
Work side by side with product development, offering management, marketing and sales to shepherd products to market.
Speaker engagement opportunities with customers, partners and potential acquisitions.
Take the stage at security and customer conferences showcasing emerging technology and capability.
Support of sales/client engagements and escalations.

English Fluent (verbal and written)
General software architecture experience
High-level, object-oriented programming languages
Systems architecture, design, and implementation
Proven ability coach/mentor
Experience with agile practices
Enterprise appliance delivery
Cloud and SAAS delivery
General experience in IT Security
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
Container Orchestration Platforms (Kubernetes).
Microservice software architecture.
Design of SaaS systems for scalability, security, availability and performance.
Public speaking engagements & written articles in Security or Software design/delivery.
