Leverage strong data science skills throughout the data analysis process (problem formulation, data aggregation, transformation and cleaning, descriptive analysis, modeling, visualization, presentation, productizing)Design and execute research of open-ended problems related to data analytics, Machine Learning, and predictive modeling on large, complex data sets to draw insights and conclusions for key stakeholdersEvaluate, improve, and invent analysis methods to be used in IPT Global’s suite of well integrity solutionsDevelop and validate proposed analysis methods through the application of physics-based and data-based models to industry component data sets, apply variances to account for test environment effects and signal noise to gauge algorithm performance and robustnessCollaborate with multiple teams and present findings, prototypes, and recommendations periodically to multiple levels of stakeholders, including to senior managementLeverage existing data sets to improve/invent analysis methods and solutions by performing data analysis on large sets of data identifying trends, patterns, anomalies, clusters, and insights in a continual advancement of our state-of-the-artPerform statistical analysis of field and simulated data to provide reliability insights, confidence levels, and risk assessmentsSupport Business Development through projects evaluating client/prospect data and potential improvements in reliability and efficiency using IPT productsAnalyze operational data, create KPIs, and develop dashboards or visualizations that drive action and provide business value for internal and external clientsParticipate in technical document generation and research publication writing, and present research at national/international conferences and forums in fields related to the roleDocument innovations in the consideration and protection of Intellectual Property (e.g., patent applications, trade secrets)All other assigned duties
