Description
If you're looking for work in the Energy/Natural Resources field, Robert Half is looking for an experienced Database Developer with a strong relational database background. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and developing database architecture. If you are skilled at writing queries and enjoy designing systems, we cannot wait to hear from you about this great Database Developer role. This long-term contract / temporary to hire position is located in the Houston, Texas area.
Your responsibilities in this role
- Plan out, code, and design relational databases
- Generate a database schema based on data type and application related function
- Build a method for storing future database data
- Provide documentation and training to Database Administrator. Provide training to other users as necessary
Requirements
- Solid grasp of query coding and relational databases
- Knowledge of common issues with database operations
- Previous experience working as a Database Developer or a related role
- ETRM experience preferred
- Microsoft SQL experience
- Microsoft SSRS experience preferred
- Microsoft SSRS experience
