SUMMARY: A Houston headquartered software company that is in growth mode is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to join their team.
RESPONSIBILITIES: You will provide new development, enhancements to existing applications and reports, as well as provide production application support to the organizations commercially available software applications. This role will report directly to the head of all development and work with other developers.
Key functions:

  • Code, test, debug, implement changes to data-driven apps and libraries and support complex applications
  • Proven ability to solve real world problems using efficient and well-written algorithms
  • Able to clearly and concisely articulate ideas, thoughts and opinions during requirements and design sessions with the development team
  • Experience working beyond frameworks to create frameworks and understand software patterns
  • Interests and abilities must extend beyond writing boilerplate code or user interfaces
  • Willing to learn quickly and be able to adapt to shifting priorities is essential
  • Must pay attention to details and consider all possibilities before acting
  • Work with Product Managers to create feature specifications and estimate timelines
  • Add robust features and evolve existing products
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Preferred college degree in Computer Science or simliar or equivalent work experience of 5 years in a software development role
  • Must be located in Houston
  • Technical skills include:
    • C#
    • ASP.Net (Web forms preferred)
    • Javascript/HTML5
    • Jquery
    • Bootstrap
    • Microsoft SQL (MSS preferred) - including stored procedures, transact SQL, etc.
    • JSON objects and Asynchronous Java Scripts and XML (AJAX)
    • Visual Studio
    • XHTML, XML
    • SQL Server development (T-SQL, Stored Procedures)
    • Web Services
    • Report writing in SSRS
  • Visa Sponsorship not available or provided
