As an Inside Sales Development Representative at Onit, you can have a significant impact on the growth of our business. As a creative and energetic self-starter, you will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to produce qualified sales leads. This is primarily an outbound prospecting and opportunity development position which will include following up and cultivating leads from marketing and other sources, as well as, proactive, cold calling into target accounts. You will focus on finding new sales opportunities, increasing the Onit pipeline and on scheduling discovery calls and demos for the sales team. Cold call prospects by phone, email, and other social platforms to generate leads and set demo meetings
Follow up on unconverted leads, legacy sales opportunities, trade show leads, etc. to cultivate into new sales cycles
Work effectively in a collaborative work environment and professionally represent the company to clients
On a project basis, assist Marketing with driving attendees to Onit or other industry events in which Onit is a sponsor
Maintain in-depth product knowledge of the solution offerings of the company
Capture and maintain accurate information in Salesforce.com
Collaborate with marketing and sales on sales pipeline, promotions, and other lead generation methods
Qualifications and Skills
Highly motivated and disciplined self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills
Able to thrive in a fast paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
Must be very comfortable on the phone and have experience with outbound, phone and email-based lead generation
Proven ability to work within a fast-paced team environment
Experience using Salesforce.com (or other CRM) as well as social tools like LinkedIn for lead generation
4-year degree strongly preferred
The ideal candidate has experience with legal, process automation and/or sales enablement software
