As an Information Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for learning our Epicor P21 ERP database, testing it, training team members and help to complete the migration to the new system. After our "go live" date this spring, you will be the "Go To" point of contact for this database and helping users learn it, make changes when necessary, and fix issues as they arise. You will also be responsible for all technology systems in the organization. This will also include negotiating ISP, cell phone and other contracts after shopping for the best rates.
In addition to daily responsibilities, opportunities also exist to work on special projects in which you will get to research new technology and solve more complex problems. These responsibilities will include collecting and analyzing business requirements, followed by researching and recommending appropriate solutions. You will then perform the hands-on work required to build, configure, test, and deploy the agreed technical solutions. This position will also require providing appropriate documentation to maintain and support these solutions.
