LabVIEW Developer
Houston, TX (Remote till Covid)
Full-time/Contract both
Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience in designing and building test systems using National Instruments hardware.
Desire and comfortability in working in a test lab environment
Experience with HANDS-ON assembly of test boxes/fixtures that contain components such as power supply, wiring hardness, DAQ hardware, switch and connector panel interface
Experience sourcing and integrating components into test systems. This includes experience with pressure sensors, stepper motors, strain gages, solenoids, and water pumps.
Experience in the oil/gas industry is a plus
Certified LabVIEW Architect or Certified LabVIEW Developer is a plus
Knowledge in using test and measurement tools such as Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Load, AC/DC power supply, DMM
Ability to understand equipment manuals to automate operation and communication protocols such as RS485, 232, USB, TCP, UDP
Team player with ability to work in a highly cross-functional environment
Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to professionally support periodic communication to management
Ability to work independently to solve issues and self-manage time
