Vaco has a full time opportunity for a Lead SharePoint Admin/Developer role in Downtown Houston, TX.

This role will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the SharePoint application environment to maximize availability and performance, provide troubleshooting and corrective action to resolve business issues, and ensures the usability and support for application enhancements and bug fixes.

Admin duties include adding users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions, performing maintenance of the SharePoint platform, servers, and intranet. The developer duties will require the use of some development/programmer competencies to complete work efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS

:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, and/or equivalent work experience in a related field

  • 6+ years of experience in the administration and management of a SharePoint environment

  • Experience with developing solutions in SharePoint

  • SharePoint Event Log troubleshooting, search administration and troubleshooting, concepts of a farm and the planning and implementation of Service Packs and Cumulative Updates

  • Preferred experience includes .net, Power Apps, Power BI and Powershell scripting
