Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they’re well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. If you’re ready to work on our planes, join our Tech Ops experts and help keep our fleet in tip-top shape.Key Responsibilities:This employee will assist in the implementation of United Airlines telemetry devices and scheduled maintenance programs for the United Ground service equipment fleet ensuring packaging of program maintenance requirements that optimize equipment safety, reliability and availability. The employee will also support key Tech Ops initiatives that improve United's competitiveness. Planning, Methods and Standards, Maintenance Programs, Service Equipment Records and other Tech Ops organizations to implement maintenance program changes.Develop and analyze reliability data and metrics, including non-routine maintenance actions, component failures and routing maintenance findings
Some travel required to stations to understand processes related to field data gathering and analysis
Develop new metrics based on current and new data discoveries to streamline preventative maintenance schedules
Coordinate and sequence implementation of revisions to the maintenance program with all work groups that will be part of the implementation process, as well as the affected workgroups that will execute scheduled maintenance
Gather, Monitor and Analyze data from various sources, identify key issues and develop recommendations for new and existing program packaging and for improved yield efficiencies
Determine the effect on Tech Ops and Networking of routine maintenance program changes and notify affected work groups of the pending changes and potential impact

BS in Engineering
3 to 5 years of previous experience
Effective communication skills
Analytical, experience applying investigative techniques for problem solving
Strong computer skills
Wiling to travel up to 50% of the time
What will help you propel from the pack:Master's degree
Mechanical Engineer or Maintenance & Reliability Engineer
Prior experience in Airport Operations, eCommerce, product development
Database experience with SQL a plus
Strong background and in-depth knowledge pertaining to maintenance programs and procedures in maintenance systems
