RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer in Houston, TX.
Duties:
Senior UI/UX Designer will understand the needs of design system consumers, and contribute to prioritizing and road mapping the design system's evolution
Help facilitate collecting use cases, gathering the necessary research findings, and usability studies to validate designs; Synthesize results and drive design update ideation, creating components, and updating our design system library
Design simple, clean, elegant user experiences that employ a task-based design ethos with a functional aesthetic
Collaborate closely with designers and UI developers to bring designs to life
Work with UI developers to document and articulate pattern designs that integrate with the react-based framework, grommet.io
As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will work closely with product teams to understand the problem domain and design solutions that exceed expectations
Work and collaborate with remote design teams conduct frequent feedback sessions and iterations of design work for excellent usability customer experience
Create consistent experiences; While also adhering to Client branding and the Clients Design System
Design and deliver product UI and UX assets (mockups, redlines, design elements, specifications, etc.)
Develop and present product prototypes
Great understanding of enterprise application space, data center management, and cloud technologies, as well as network and system administration tools
Assist and lead design research projects to better understand customers
Iterate designs based on customer insights from both qualitative and quantitative design research
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience building tools, patterns, and support material that are consistent across product lines that allow dynamic integration between different design teams' requirements and systems that work across our client to create modern, cohesive, and compelling interaction design to shape their Design System
To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
