Artemis is NASA's human spaceflight program, with international and commercial partnerships, that has the goal of landing the first woman and the next man on the Moon, serving as a precursor to Mars human exploration. The function of this open position is to provide SharePoint development and maintenance of a configuration management tool used across Artemis.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist in the configuration and data management efforts by providing development, evolution and regular maintenance of Angular based SharePoint tools used to manage data/products.
  • Manage and understand the Change Management Workflow (CMW) tool within SharePoint and how it is used to conduct and process configuration management activities
  • Assist in the development of Angular web apps and SharePoint tools used to manage configuration and data management products and business processes.
  • Use Git to collaborate source code changes with other developers.
  • Manage and understand the Change Management Workflow (CMW) tool within SharePoint and how it is used to conduct and process configuration management activities.
  • Assist with maintaining documentation user guides and training.
  • Assist with data integration projects in SharePoint between CMW and other agency tools.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and testing of new features and projects in the CMW test environments.


What You Need to be Successful

Minimum Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited program in business or information technology or a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree and at least 3 years of applicable professional experience
  • 1-3 years' experience in Angular framework and JavaScript development and maintenance work
  • 1-3 years' experience performing SharePoint development and maintenance work
  • 1-3 years' experience in developing SharePoint documentation and user guides
  • 1-3 years' experience with working in Sharepoint development environments/discussions/efforts
  • Fundamental knowledge of UX/UI
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Independent and self-motivated; proactive ability to learn on the job
  • Ability to work within a team environment, where the team is distributed across multiple NASA Organizations, Projects and Programs
  • Ability to identify and communicate concerns to leadership in a diplomatic manner
  • This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

  • 3+ years' experience within NASA
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, ICE, Confluence, SharePoint, and Windchill
  • Expertise in communications
  • Expertise in tool development
