We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivating Operations Coordinator that has a passion for aviation to assist and promote our global flight service solutions.For individuals who excel in a dynamic environment and find reward in solving complex issues worldwide. Our Trip Operations Coordinators work issues and challenges around the world, working within the guidelines of the ICAO and country AIP rules and regulations.Responsibilities
Consult with clients regarding international flight planning. Develop solutions and offers options to execute complex trip itineraries.
Prepare service request messages to Service Representatives and Aviation Authorities. Service requests include, but are not limited to flight clearances, flight planning, ground handling, credit arrangements, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, fuel setups, and customs notification.
Utilize complete knowledge of various windows based computer applications, with a focus on ARINCDirect Flight Planning and ARINCDirect Flight Manager.
Compute flight plans using ARINCDirect flight planning tools.
Build flight plan routes and verify their accuracy and acceptance with ATC/authorities.
Required to make quick decisions for delayed or diverted flights and execute plan of action to revise permit/slots, ground services, and flight plans, while simultaneously briefing client of all options.
Coordinate and collaborate with ARINCDirect trip support, fuel, FOS, flight planning and Aviation Weather teams for operational needs, customer relations and technological enhancements.
Assist in maintaining internal system with accurate and complete airport, city, and country information, regulations, procedures, and rules.
Maintain and grow International Trip Support customer relationships, build trust and confidence in International Trip Support service and products.
Qualifications
Associates degree in appropriate discipline or in absence of an associate’s degree three years of related experience.
Must be able to work non-standard shifts. 24 hrs, 7 days a week.
Experience in aviation dispatch and/or flight operations with preferred experience working high tempo international trip support operations.
Desired qualifications:
Multiple language fluency.
Experience reading aeronautical charts.
Experience flight planning.
FAA Dispatch License.
