A Growing Independent Insurance Agency located in Katy, Texas is looking for someone who wants to be part of an award winning insurance agency as an ACCOUNT MANAGER with the ability to independently manage her/his own desk, is a self-starter and enjoys being part of a fast paced culture. This is a great opportunity for the RIGHT PERSON to join a dynamic and growing. We are looking for an experienced ACCOUNT MANAGER to work in our Life & Health Group Benefits division providing insurance service and support to our clients and is excited to be doing new things in a growing department.
Responsibilities include: nurturing client relationships, working with the advisors to develop quality group benefit programs, preparing RFPs and proposals, servicing clients in a manner to eliminate gaps in coverage thus protecting the client’s employees, and maintaining client files.
Successful candidate will possess these skills:
Strong knowledge of group benefit insurance products & services.
Texas General Lines Life & Health insurance license is an asset.
Working knowledge of an HRIS system is a plus (Plan Source, Employee Navigator etc.).
Strong, resourceful and with the ability to be creative in problem solving and possess good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Candidate should possess a 'team' spirit and display the ability to successfully work within a team structure as well as alone. Candidate must also understand the dynamics of 'group think' and be able to understand where individual strengths and weaknesses lie in order to best serve the client’s needs and objectives. Required experience:
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Insurance or Human Resource in Benefits
Experience with a CRM or Account management system
