The Maintenance Department ensures that the physical aspects of the property meet the Company's established standards and any applicable laws. Diagnoses problems and makes repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural and appliances.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Paints structures, repairs sheet rock and woodwork with carpenter's tools
Repairs and maintains physical structures of apartment houses using hand and power tools
Knowledge of boilers and appliances
Repairs floors and tile
Repairs plaster
Repairs plumbing fixtures
Replaces defective electrical switches and other fixtures
Reports any maintenance issues and/or concerns to property manager in a timely manner
Responds promptly to all on-call pages/requests
Is able to trouble shoot electrical and solve easy problems
Completes work orders according to Company guidelines and safety standards
Maintains tools and equipment in the maintenance shop in an orderly manner and according to Company policy
Requirements:
BI-LINGUAL a MUST
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License
Minimum 2 years' experience in multi-family industry
Suggested but not required: HVAC Certification, CPO Certification, Licensed Maintenance Electrician
Job Details:
Full-Time Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
rotating nights and weekends for Emergency calls
