Quality Control Test Technician

General Role Description:

Perform pre-power inspections and production line acceptance testing using manual and automated equipment. Troubleshoot issues during testing and provide solutions.

Schedule - Mon to Fri

7am-3pm or 5:30pm – 2am

M-F PLUS OVERTIME. Pay $25/hr.

Responsibilities:

Conduct visual inspections on all product lines.

Perform production line testing, including insulation and function tests.

Work from instructions, drawings, and procedures.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.

Record test results and complete required reports.

Report issues found in failed units.

Perform some mechanical assembly tasks.

Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly, occasionally up to 40 lbs.

Handle large gage cables.

Communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.

Follow safety standards and company procedures.

Available to work evening shifts (5:30 pm – 2 am), with overtime as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

2 - 5 years’ experience in the electric industry.

Two-year technical degree in Applied Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Equivalent college hours in engineering or

comparable industry experience.

Must be able to read and interpret schematics.

Experience in power electronics.

Experience in operating standard test equipment including DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Power Analyzers, Isolation Testers, etc.

Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of ISO 9001
