Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Field Technician who can handle a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of managing jobs from inspection through completion. You will perform diagnostics, complete minor repairs, oversee subcontractors, create estimates, and ensure that work meets our company’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform HVAC and plumbing diagnostics and repairs
Handle minor electrical troubleshooting and roof inspections/repairs (non-structural)
Complete general maintenance tasks (up to 1-hour repairs on site)
Conduct property inspections, take photos, and prepare detailed cost estimates (labor + materials)
Manage and coordinate subcontractors when needed
Perform job site follow-ups, verify completed work, and submit final reports with photos
Maintain clear communication with office staff, tenants, and property owners
Submit daily job updates, receipts, and weekly fuel expenses for reimbursement
Handle optional emergency calls (after hours/weekends) at double hourly rate
Requirements
Strong hands-on knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, and general home repair
Ability to prepare detailed job estimates and explain work to property owners/tenants
Reliable truck or work vehicle and personal set of tools (basic & specialized)
Must carry a drain snake and standard materials for small repairs
Professional appearance (company uniforms and gear provided)
Strong English communication skills
Must be organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks daily
Able to work independently while representing the company professionally
Willingness to handle emergency calls when available
