Immediate opening for Collections Legal Assistant at a busy, fast-paced and growing firm. We are looking for the ideal candidate with:
-At least 1-3 years experience as a Consumer/Commercial Collections Representative and/or Paralegal.
-Knowledge of FDCPA rules and regulations required;
-Experience communicating with debtors (i.e. talk off) providing updates on collection activities, processing mail, scanning and copying documents.
-Ability to maintain court and coverage calendars and adhere to and track critical deadlines (required).
-Experience prioritizing work assignments to insure the highest return possible on assigned portfolio.
-Strong, exceptional computer skills, communication skills, proof reading skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to multi-task, work independently and be a team player.
-Bilingual is a plus.
