JOB SUMMARY:
The IT Product Owner / Manager will be leading the development of an eCommerce and Customer Collaboration platform to be used by external customers. This platform development is the result of the overall separation program from parent companies with the primary goal of consolidating and creating a single standardized platform for all customers.
The IT Product Owner you will be leading the charge on both product planning and product marketing in collaboration with our scrum masters and engineers, our product designers, and internal stakeholders. You will roll up your sleeves to gain a deep understanding of the challenges that both our customers and business units face and you will have the autonomy to develop a roadmap that will guide development through the full product lifecycle.
You are a little creative and a lot of curious - you will be determining best practices for gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements while defining the product vision. You are probably someone who likes to ask "Why" until you truly understand what needs to be built (or in some cases, what doesn't) and what it will take to get there by working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products.
In this role you will work with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals.

REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or STEM with minimum 12 years of professional experience; PMP or PMI strongly preferred
· Minimum 5 years of experience with Product management, business analysis, development, or technical merchant integration.
· Strong preference for experience in operations and/or digital experience platforms
· Experience in oil and gas service companies a plus
· Experience with B2B, B2C and/or SaaS products strongly preferred
· Experience and deep conceptual understanding of customer order promise, inventory availability, order routing, distributed order management and/or fulfillment planning applications
· Supply chain management and inventory management, customer experience offerings and capabilities
· Proficient with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
· Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects using waterfall and agile methodologies
· Strong problem-solving capabilities evidenced by a proven ability to analyze product concepts, strategic opportunities, and competitive threats quantitatively and qualitatively
· Demonstrated experience in balancing the needs of competing business drivers and stakeholder objectives.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to prepare clear and concise stakeholder- ready documents.
· A strong track record of delivering high quality products and customer experiences in a very high growth environment where priorities and structures may shift.
· The ability to look through the turn. You will be a proactive thinker, someone who can act swiftly while managing expectations of our own internal teams.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· A design thinking and people focused approach to their work
· Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. You will provide leadership and guidance to create products that improve customer experience
· Should be able to provide examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Drive the eCommerce and Customer Collaboration platform capabilities within company as part of the overall separation program from parent companies
· Rationalize multiple platforms within company and create a standard platform for all customers
· Work with functional teams to create a multi-year strategy for these products
· Work with internal team and other third-party vendors to provide operational support for the product
· Ensure successful delivery of projects or programs through ongoing client engagement, partnering with technical teams internal and external to the initiative, and coordination of all required activities and milestones
· Drive projects prioritization and initiation, responsible for definition of and compliance with project management methodologies, performing regular tracking and reporting on progress, and initiative results verification.
· Present projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders in company
· Manage technical development team translating functional to technical requirements
· Identify future technologies to differentiate company customer experience from its competitors
· Demonstrate ROI for enhancements, new technology solutions and overall products
