Telephone Answering Service in FM 1960 area (1960 & Veterans Memorial) has openings for EVENING SHIFT agents.
Positions are scheduled between 2pm and 2am and are scheduled 32 or more hours per week. This office is open 24 hours a day. You must be able to work weekends and some holidays. Some weeks you will be scheduled for a 4-day week, doing 10-hour shifts (4pm-2am or 3pm - 1am)
Agents handle phone calls, messages, and customer service on behalf of a professional clientele (many in the health care fields). Accuracy in gathering information is critical for these clients.
Requirements are:
Be able to type a minimum of 45 wpm
Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills
Demonstrate excellent listening skills
Be available to work on weekends
Have reliable transportation
Be able to function in a fast pace work environment
Demonstrate the ability to work with a team
Experience is not a requirement. Bilingual skills to assist Spanish speaking callers is a big plus and paid extra. After 16 weeks of training, wage is $14.25 - 15.25 per hour based on experience, skills, assigned shift and attendance. ( Week 1-4 training is $9.00/hour - Week 5-8 is $10.00/hour - Week 9-12 is $11.50/ hour - Week 13-16 is $12.50/ hour and then regular rate of $14.25 plus)
