Xpediant Digital is seeking strong technologists that are self-driven, has high integrity with a “get it done” mentality that has a passion for helping organizations solve complex business and technology problems. This candidate will have strong Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) competencies experience developing for enterprise-class Web content management systems.

This position would ideally be based in Houston, Texas, but could be remote based on the candidate and candidates qualifications. You are an integral part of building Xpediant Digital:

  • Stay current with development, tools, and technologies

  • Supporting business development activities, working closely with account management teams to understand client needs, formulate solution strategies, and develop proposals and statements of work, including cost and schedule estimates

  • Be part of helping drive Xpediant Digital’s brand in the marketplace by authoring innovative ideas and conducting webinars and other means

Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions

  • Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions that are aligned with client business objectives

  • Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of an AEM implementation

  • Develop custom solutions and interfaces leveraging the Adobe platform, including AEM/CQ, CRX, CQ WCM, DAM

  • Work with Project Managers to manage the technical scope and client expectations

  • Provide hands-on, expert-level technical assistance to developers

  • Design and manage the execution of test plans to ensure a quality solution is delivered

  • Demonstrate technical thought leadership

  • Conduct code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure that code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate design patterns are being used

  • Be a credible subject matter expert to clients and partners on sales cycles and marketing events

  • Provide detailed estimates and participate in sales solutioning and proposal creation

  • Coach and mentor junior developers and configurators; own responsibility for ongoing technical development of developers on AEM projects

  • Participating in delivery reviews on complex projects and post-project reviews

  • Design and manage the execution of test plans to ensure a quality solution is delivered

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, engineering, or prior experience in software development systems

  • 7+ years experience with AEM/CQ, other Java based CMSs

  • Experience in technical management and technical execution of large digital applications across multiple frameworks and platforms.

  • History of working in and/or leading interdisciplinary teams

  • Knowledge of modern front-end technologies and tooling

  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies

  • Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo or TeamCity

  • System architecture experience including cloud infrastructure, data management, RESTful APIs, basic system administration and dev-ops.

  • Develop custom solutions and interfaces leveraging the Adobe platform, including AEM/CQ, CRX, CQ WCM, DAM

  • Development and architectural experience with: WCM, CMS, CRXDE, CRXDE Lite, OSGI Framework, JCR, Apache sling, DAM.

  • Custom AEM Reusable components, Widgets, Templates, Widgets on top of JCR and Apache Sling, Apache Jackrabbit CRX and AEM.

  • Programming experience in J2EE, Java, JSP, Sightly, Servlets, Struts, Spring, Web services, ANT, Maven, HTML5, XML, CSS, EJB, JSON, JMS, JDBC, RWD, Oracle.

  • Experience integrating Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics with AEM

  • AEM Certifications a plus
