Westex Security Services, Inc. is currently hiring for Security Supervisors and Security Officers. The following positions are available:
1. Security Shift Supervisor, $11.25 hr to start, job location in Downtown Houston, second shift available
Job Duties: Shift supervisor will monitor and enforce both client and Company policies and procedures, perform patrols and checks, respond to site incidents, report security issues promptly, conduct site training, write reports, and handle shift operations per the post orders.
Position Requirements: Must have prior supervisory experience
2. Patrol Supervisor, $12.50 hr to start, job location in Downtown Houston, second shift available
Job Duties: Patrol Supervisor will drive to various client job sites utilizing company vehicle, to monitor property and personnel, complete ongoing training with security personnel, respond to security incidents and issues, enforce both client and Company policies and procedures, handle personnel call ins, inquiries and issues during shift, write reports, and complete other duties as assigned by Security Management.
Position Requirements: Must have prior supervisory experience, a valid driver's license, and a satisfactory driving record.
3. Mobile Officer, $11.25 hr + up to $50.00 travel bonus per shift, all shifts
Job Duties: Mobile Officer will drive to various property locations in Houston to detect, deter, observe and report security related activities. Officer will monitor property via foot patrol and by stationing in their vehicle.
Position Requirements: Must have access to an insured vehicle, a valid driver's license, have open flexible availability including working weekends and nights, a working email and cell phone.
Employment Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have a Highschool Diploma or GED
Must be able to pass criminal background check & drug screening
Must have a valid driver's license and/or ID card
Must have access to reliable transportation
Must have excellent communication skills
Must have moderate computer skills
Must be able to perform foot patrols and moderate lifting.
Candidates that possess a valid Texas security license and/or have a background in security, law enforcement, corrections and/or military field of work are encouraged to apply!
