Locally owned business is seeking an inside sales person. Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Inside Sales business to business
- We offer 24/7 support requiring the ideal candidate rotating in an On-call schedule
- Proposal development, field calls, and order entry.
- Follow up by phone to close orders, identify new opportunities, and identify missed sales.
- Maintain an open bid list and monitor the status of various projects.
- Serve as a first point of contact, customers, and technical support roles.
- Maintain contact with existing clients by phone, and email.
Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree and three years of business-to-business sales experience. Candidates must be persistent with good organizational and communication skills. An understanding of the petrochemical & refining maintenance environment.
Bilingual Spanish/ English is strongly desired
Preferred Skills:
- Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to visualize from verbal descriptions of challenges to find solutions.
- Basic knowledge of heat exchangers, fin-fan coolers, boilers, and process equipment a plus.
- Basic knowledge of machining operations and fundamentals of metallurgy
- Excellent follow-up skills
- Enjoy establishing relationships with clients and earning a good reputation with clients.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with good computer skills.
- Intimate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite able to use Excel, Word, Outlook in depth.
Successful candidate will train first in the various departments working with our staff to learn our various product lines, applications, and gain an overall familiarity of what our company offers. The Candidate will also train with the existing inside sales team for a period for further education and training.
