Job Description
TITLE: Lead Software Developer
DUTIES: Pulse Network LLC seeks Lead Software Developer in Houston, TX to analyze, modify, and support application software. Ensure quality code is delivered through continuous integration, development, and testing. Perform technical design, coding with test automation, support, and documentation of software application modifications. Deliver technology solutions that support business goals. Partner with the product owner to understand business requirements, evaluate features, and translate application specifications into workable technical solutions. Maintain application software and systems. Ensure all projects and releases are appropriately tested and risks are mitigated. Oversee and review development activities of team members and contractors. Support technical initiatives and provide input into best practices to team. Promote a risk-aware culture to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: utilizing BHMI Concourse Platform to support payments and settlement processing; utilizing databases, including Oracle Exadata Platform; using programming languages, including SQL/PLSQL and Python to program application enhancements, build scripts to automate processes, create application alerts, and read and parse JSON, fixed length, variable, and delimited files; working with Unix and Linux operating systems, including Shell Scripting; creating and managing applications with JBoss, App Dynamics, and Netcool; utilizing payments message formats ISO8583, and working within a scaled agile framework; and utilizing continuous improvement/continuous development tools, including Github and Jenkins.
