Practical experience as a Network Engineer in a complex multi-platform, multi-protocol environment.
Requires expertise in network monitoring, analysis, management, and configuration tools or expertise with server/systems monitoring and management tools.
Understanding of business and clinical applications within a healthcare environment.
Packet-level expertise in network traffic analysis.
Competent with mainstream office automation, project management, and communications tools.
Strong project management and interpersonal skills; ability to deal effectively with diverse skill sets and personalities, provide strong team leadership, and work effectively as a team player.
Requires expertise in all aspects of LAN and WAN operation, switching, routing, topology, QoS, Multicast, network protocols, software-defined networking, Wireless, and Metro Ethernet.
Knowledge and experience of the following: MPLS, NAC, VPN, remote access servers, security devices, firewalls, security protocols, IDS/IPS, NAT/PAT, ACS, Adaptive Authentication, SecurID, RadiLDAP/TACACS.

Desired Qualifications :
5-10 years of network support experience and strong technology background in managing and troubleshooting Multi-OS LAN/WAN/WLAN/DMZ infrastructure for a large enterprise
L2/L3 Technologies: Ip Subnetting, IP routing, routing/switching protocols like BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, GLBP, VRRP, HSRP, MPLS, IPv6, Multicast.
Thorough understanding and ability to analyze Packet captures/traces
Excellent interpersonal and Customer Service Skills
Excellent problem-solving skills with a desire to take on responsibility
A Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or equivalent certification is preferred.
Excellent Written and Oral communication skills
Excellent understanding of Networking concepts not Limited to Routing and Switching
Ability to quickly analyze and troubleshoot data and voice network outages
