Handyman (Katy Tx)
compensation: 18-25 hour
employment type: full-time
We are looking for 1 or 2 handymen to join our team. (The term handyman is just an industry term. We would gladly hire a woman with handyperson experience.)
Qualifications
General skills. On any given day a job one of our handyman may be asked to put in a light, put in a new faucet, hang some shelves, repair drywall, paint, put together furniture, hang a TV, repair molding and trim, install a new door, repair screens, install a dishwasher, install a garbage disposal, interior and exterior painting, install flooring, etc.
Own tools and transportation. We provide rarely used expensive tools like a chop saw, table saw, etc.
Customer Service Focus - Good customer skills are just as important as good trade skills.
Ability to pass both a drug test and a background check, be able to work in the USA
Benefits
We pay by the hour, not the job (1099), so time between clients is paid.
Jobs are typically Monday through Friday 8 to 5. No weekends unless you want them.
99% of our work is within 25 miles from Katy, so there is very little driving once your day starts.
