About the Opportunity

The growth of our Cloud deployment has also driven our needs for automation and automation platforms to be used by the Avaya Enterprise. We use Jenkins/Ansible to automate in vCenter and in Palo Alto network system to support Avaya product builds. We also manage Kubernetes platforms for Avaya containerized product deployments. #LI-HK1

About the Responsibilities

Develop automation solutions and standards leveraging Ansible playbooks and Jenkins pipelines.

Automate workflows, collaborate and assist with installation and configuration of virtual environments and networking in VMware and Public Cloud environments based on project requirements and design analysis.

Architect, deploy, configure and manage the Kubernetes/Tanzu platforms

Provide operational support and guidance for the Kubernetes/Tanzu platform including administration, troubleshooting, user support , monitoring, disaster recovery, security compliance/auditing, networking, storage, service brokers and build packs

About the Requirements

EXPERIENCE

Proven experience with Ansible, shell or powershell scripting

Proven experience with VMware vSphere and ESXi

Proven experience with networking and related technologies (e.g. load balancing DNS, SSL, firewalls, NAT, SDN)

Proven experience with DNS, NTP, SAML, OAuth 2, Active Directory

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Ansible, or other related automation and orchestration tool scripting required

Ability to use DevOps tool chains such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Docker, etc.

Experience with Kubernetes platform management and container application development

Experience with Linux Unix system administration

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent
