Job Overview:
The Senior Cloud Application Modernization Delivery Lead works across the entire Citi organization to deliver the best solutions for developers and drive feature enhancements based upon developers needs.
You will work with cross-functional teams and the business sectors to drive adoption and enhancement of Citi strategic cloud standards.
As a trusted advisor, the Delivery Lead helps organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions and how to migrate and/or re-develop existing workloads in the cloud.
You will help shape execute and deliver solutions for a broad range of customer use cases from container to serverless platforms.
Responsibilities:
In this role as an experienced cloud architect/developer you will work with our developers in architecting and re-engineering applications that can fully leverage the public cloud (AWSP).
You will work on a variety of projects at the forefront of application development and cloud technology adoption for Citis various business lines (ICG, GCG, GFT).
Achieving success will require coordination across many internal Citi teams with impact and visibility at the highest levels of the company.
Qualifications/Experience:
5+ years of hands-on experience/familiarity with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and AWS EKS
Solid understanding of Kubernetes container orchestration and RH OpenShift to help drive point engineering solutions for Citi's On-Premises cloud
Agile software development expert
Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins); CloudFormation, Terraform
Relational databases (Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQL MySQL)
Java .NET (C#) Python Node.js Ruby C/C++ or Scala
Configuration management platforms (e.g. Chef Puppet Salt or Ansible)
Enterprise grade application development and design experience
Architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing horizontal scalability and high availability
Customer facing role driving discussions with business and technical personnel regarding design development and architecting best practices
Developing designing and developing applications in an AWS Cloud environment
Experience with converting monolith applications to microservices on AWS; building cloud-native applications on AWS
Ability to think strategically about business product and technical challenges;
Education:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
