Role: Sr. Software Engineer/Architect - Cognos/Qlik/Data Warehouse
Location: Irving, TX/Remote during COVID

MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
Strong Knowledge of Cognos and Qlik BI Tools. The ability to respond to and resolve tickets on technical issues related to Cognos BI within defined SLAs. Coordinate with IBM Support for any unresolved. Responsible for Monitoring, reporting, and server usage. Utilize third-party tools like Motio to support package/reports/user/folder deployments in Cognos BI Creation and maintenance of system documentation related to the Cognos BI.
The ability to support a large Qlik environment and troubleshoot problems as they arise. The ability to communicate those issues to Qlik Support and resolve the problems in a timely manner. The ability to use Qlik third party migration tools like Soterre is a plus.
Deep level troubleshooting. Identifying problems in advance and looking for continuous service improvements. Participate in problem management and come up with solutions on recurring incidents. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize and execute on assigned deliverables.
