Job Summary

The UX /UI Designer will have a crucial in the development of our digital enterprise applications using UX best practices, learnings from testing efforts, and coordination with Product/Solution Owners. The UX / UI Designer is responsible for translating business needs to functional digital design for an enterprise product.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a contributor to a large-scale enterprise software product offering
  • Familiarity and in depth understand working with Figma in an enterprise environment leveraging Material framework.
  • Experienced working closely with development teams, using agile methodologies.
  • Ability to prepare design files for development handoff for multiple breakpoints and an in-depth understanding of grids, spacing increments, and the inner workings of Material as it relates to design.
  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills; collaborate across pods and with the larger UX team for pattern consistency.
  • Experience managing digital roadmaps of successfully executed investment returning features/tests within an enterprise product
  • Breadth of experience along the full spectrum of UI/UX design, from user research to interaction to pattern usage/development and visual design
  • Experience estimating UX project efforts and managing workloads
  • Experience creating research plans, personas, and customer journey maps/experience maps
  • Outstanding communication, design thought leadership, presentation, and storytelling skills
  • Proficiency in responsive web design and mobile/native platform UI/UX, and an aptitude for learning new technologies and tinkering mentality


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to create differentiated human-centered experiences that benefit people and the product
  • Employ qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to help customers better understand the needs of their consumers, customers, and employees
  • Facilitate white-boarding, workshops, design sessions, and project meetings
  • Create user flows and low-fidelity wireframes to serve as a proof of concept
  • Brainstorm, evaluate and prioritize future state opportunity recommendations
  • Prototyping both digital and physical experiences and iterating them based on user insight and stakeholder feedback (ranging from low- to high-fidelity with interactions and visual design)
  • Working with engineering teams to translate design into coded solutions
  • Balancing multiple projects at different stages and bringing unique perspectives to each
  • Bringing your own unique perspective to solving challenging problems
  • You will be working closely with product and technology stakeholders, helping them see the 'big picture' - both the end-to-end customer journey as well as the surface-to-core business operations that includes people, process and technology
  • Prepare documentation for planning and execution of all testing activities and maintain library of results
