We are a busy medical practice seeking to hire a patient care coordinator for a full time position. Our office hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. This position may require occasional longer hours if needed by the patients or physician.

The main job of a patient care coordinator is to ensure high quality healthcare. A coordinator helps to ensure patients understand every aspect of their care while also working with administration to create policies and make decisions that are in the best interest of patients. The patient coordinator is responsible for patient education, fee quotation, marketing, streamlining office operations, inventory control, staff supervision and surgical scheduling. This requires a client-focused individual who is reliable, well-organized, and possesses strong leadership abilities.

Duties:

Perform general office and administrative duties assisting the physician with the patient process.

Successfully utilize the scheduling system to accommodate patients and surgeon.

Develop and assist in marketing and sales activities.

Actively call current, past and potential patients through identified sources. Track and report appointment results.

Manage incoming phone calls and messages, as well as, follow-up activities with patients.

Process and document clinic forms accurately, as they relate to patient care (i.e., patient records, financial forms, and insurance contracts).

Supervise office staff.

Reconcile cash balance and manage Account Receivables and Payables, including making bank deposits.

Perform ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

5 years of office experience is preferred.

3-5 years sales and customer service experience preferred.

3-5 years of management experience is preferred.

Able to handle multiple priorities.
