Responsibilities:Duties include teaching graduate courses in Public Administration and undergraduate courses in Political Science. A reduced load (2-2 for the first year) is provided to allow for other duties, such as performing/publishing research in public administration or closely related areas, and serving on departmental, University, and professional committees.Required Qualifications:The successful candidate must hold an earned doctorate in Public Administration with a specialization in non-profit management. Must have a successful record of teaching and research. Demonstrated ability to teach graduate-level online courses in non-profit management and administration. Other Information:TAMIU is a growing university of over 7,500 students located in Laredo, Texas, a vibrant bi-lingual, bi-cultural city with a population of about 250,000 on the U.S./Mexico border. Normal course load for junior faculty is 3 courses per semester, although we offer opportunities for course release. Additional pay is available for summer teaching.
