The Digital Win Room (DWR) Deal Strategist is an essential global sales leadership function driving positive outcomes for our most critical customers and commercial opportunities. The DWR is a critical platform for customer ideation, strategy, and acceleration. This role will help strategize and build the approach, methodology, and execution plans for the largest organizations on the planet. This is a senior sales leadership role with considerable impact potential and leadership experience at the highest levels of Microsoft. Individuals interact and influence senior executives, gaining marketable skills, and drive alignment and action across the company! If you are excited about commercial business, revolutionizing organizations through cloud technology and delivering the best customer value, we’d love to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesThe Deal Strategist will ideate, strategize, and accelerate customer opportunities. This individual will work as part of a local and global DWR organization to:Drives sales and consumption growth through mid to long term account or business planning. Analyzes the outlook and generates business insights to benchmark performance and/or define sales, consumption, support, organizational, partner strategies. Contributes to integrating strategy components (e.g., programs, blueprints), cascading, aligning, and executing the defined strategy across region(s).

As primary orchestrator of the Account/Portfolio/Consumption/Support/Partner Business Plan, activates sponsorship within segment leaders. Coaches managers and sellers on account/portfolio/partner business planning fundamentals, habits, and plan quality. Drives reinforcement and review of quality plans across region(s).

Coaches and builds relationships with sales/consumption/support managers on executing key priorities. Identifies where coaching may be needed based on data-driven insights. Influences sales/consumption managers to become more effective coaches to their teams. Guides sales/consumption managers to achieve increased individual and team capability, employee satisfaction, and collaborative selling/consumption efforts. May coach and guide large deal, engagement & milestone pursuit.

Leads analytics on key revenue/consumption/support delivery drivers (e.g. by channel, by product, by geo) and generates data-based insights. Leverages and develops reporting and analytical capabilities to generate data-based insights and enable visibility into revenue/consumption and forecast for sellers, sales/consumption managers and leaders, or partners.

Supports segment leader capacity as a senior leader. Advises on and contributes to various aspects of business management (e.g., employee engagement, resource allocation, change management, building high-performing teams) in collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams. Represents the segment as an internal advocate and an extension of the segment leadership.

Build trusted relationships at the highest levels of leadership, collaborating and advancing strategic opportunities across multiple concurrent accounts.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications8+ years experience with active participation in sales, sales operations/management, account management, program management, business development, marketing, consulting, or a related field

OR equivalent experience.

5+ years of experience using data to drive business outcomes or inform business decisions.

5+ years of experience managing relationships with stakeholders, clients, and/or customers.

Additional or Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a related field.

5+ years managing projects, including planning, managing timelines, and tracking progress, and/or change management experience.

The salary range for this role in the state of Colorado is $125,000 to $216,600.Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
