This role, within the Procure to Pay (P2P) and Record to Report (R2R) Team, will partner across Financial Operations and across Microsoft to enable their vision, strategy, ideate, experiment, contribute towards operational excellence and realize the business value. As a team of creative, curious, and collaborative thought partners, we bring unique perspectives and constructive disruptions. Together, we co-create, accelerate, and deliver on digital transformational ambitions for Finance Operation.ResponsibilitiesThe Sr. Technical Business Program Manager is responsible for working across Financial Operations to understand the technology vision, strategy and needs and then determining the best solution to meet those needs. This role should bring disruptive and new technologies to Financial Operations to influence the strategy (Outside In). Success here is that Financial Operations is influenced by the insight/research/Proof of concept and prioritizes it to achieve their strategy, or we take in learnings for future research and opportunities.Develop partnerships and alignment with key partners within and across Microsoft including Engineering, Procurement, Corporate Accounting, Tax and other alliance partners

Understand the vision and strategy of Financial Operations

Activate listening mechanisms and promote the use of business insights that help inform the story and business outcome.

Recommend innovation activities based on potential value, strategic alignment, risk mitigation and employee experience

Lead innovation from vision to pilot, by researching future trends and incubating cutting-edge innovation in Record to Report and Procure to Pay

Execute by utilizing expert knowledge and drive a clear end – to – end view of expected business outcomes.

Use judgment and discretion to make recommendations on possible solutions for desired outcomes.

Ideate, experiment, take risks and fail fast. Embrace technology and seek out the best and right solution.

Learn and drive research to identify and analyze transformative ideas, patterns, trends.

Facilitate an environment of inclusion that leverages diverse perspectives and talent, to better represent and understand our global customers

Participates in technical communities to stay informed of best practices and changes within the broader discipline and shares them with the organization.

QualificationsRequired/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in Engineering, Operations, Project Management, or Programming

OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years experience in Engineering, Operations, Project Management, or Programming

OR equivalent experience.
