Funeral Assistant
This position interacts directly with client families during their time of need and is responsible for creating and maintaining a premier level of client family satisfaction. The Funeral Assistant will set-up and assist with viewings, funeral services, memorial services, and is also responsible for the care, removal and transport of human remains in accordance with all state, local and company policies and procedures. Clean cut , professional appearance required. Must have high moral character and ethical standards.
MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCEENING TEST.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with removals of deceased from hospital, nursing home or residence to transport to funeral home.
Must be able to lift and move 75-100lbs.
Be available 24/7 when on call. Generous Overtime. Normal work hours are 830-430 Monday -Friday.
Performs a variety of tasks during funerals and visitations to assist funeral directors and ensures that services run smoothly as planned.
