Role: Skyward Data Integration Consultant Location: Manor, TX (Onsite and Remote) Duration: 9 Months Experience: 5+ Years
Summary: The client is seeking qualified and experienced Submitters to provide IT consulting services in the areas of financial transactions, student information systems, school business and human resources management and other functions in support of the client systems. The Submitter will provide support during implementations, special projects, system upgrades and conversions, projects to increase functionality, report creation, analytics, application development and management, disaster recovery, and business continuity on as needed basis. Statements of Work/Service Level Agreements that may be entered into pursuant to a master services agreement may include: consulting engagements to assess current state, providing recommendations, designing future state, creating implementation strategies, and/or assisting in implementation of changes and strategies.
Examples of roles which may be needed include IT Reports Developer, Technical and Non-Technical Implementation Specialists, SQL Developer/Analyst, Business Systems Analyst. These services will assist the client in improving current system capabilities, redesigning system processes, implementing new functionality, system integrations and/or overall system implementations. Each role requires at least 5 years of experience and the primary work location is 10335 Hwy 290E in Manor, TX 78653. A combination of remote work and onsite work is acceptable. The Submitter will be expected to work with the client Business Office and other departments (or other third-party Submitters), as needed, to ensure successful project completion.
The client currently utilizes Skyward for school business and student information management but is also researching other applications to provide an increased level of performance and customer satisfaction for the District.
We reserve the right to select one or more firms to fulfill our current and/or future needs.
The requirements we are seeking include data integration experience with modules such as API (application programming interface (API)) and our Skyward K-12 ERP and SIS of Enterprise (non-Qmlativ version).
Respondents to this SOW who possess analytical and operational knowledge of such systems are preferred.
The client specifically its Chief Academics Office and Human Capital division, is in need of an IT professional knowledgeable of Skyward School Business Management System, and also needs support with its various supporting systems/integrations.
The District is currently having data migration errors with the following applications related to Skyward:
StemScopes – Clear staff errors
Summitt K-12 – Create a student export based on the columns in the users.csv template
TestHound – Application is only exporting K-8 student schedules and all grade levels should be exported.
Transfinder –Application needs to receive a single file with all of the students and not all students are included in the Skyward file that is being generated currently.
Learning.com- New Tech Middle School's name in Clever is "New Technology." and the addition to the Tech part is causing integration issues.
In addition, our Human Capital division has a critical need for ongoing report writing/data extraction support to assist them in daily, monthly and annual operations.
