Express Employment Professionals is NOW accepting applications for Shipping Clerks in the Pharr area
Pay Rate: $11.58/hr
Schedule: Monday Friday 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The person in this position is responsible coordinating activities associated with receiving, preparing and shipping product assigned. The primary focus is on assuring customer satisfaction with respect to on time shipping and shipping accuracy.
Prepares and prints shipping labels and handles shipping information
Assigns all incoming trucks/trailers to docks for pick up and or drop
Problem solves for customers and suppliers about shipping routes, delayed items, and rush orders
Responsible for locating trips/loads on the warehouse floor
Answers inquiries from carriers regarding shipment status
Ensures correct shipment of international orders and the correct form and method.
Assigned filing and data-entry tasks to organize business documents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent, computer literacy,
1-year shipping experience required
experience in Oracle systems preferred.
Provide excellent communication and customer service skills to both the customer and staff.
Strong organizational skills
