Job Description

SUMMARY
We are driving transformation at First United. To advance our employee and customer experience across the enterprise the Senior Business Analyst wears many hats on projects and touches multiple areas - everything from requirements gathering, testing, training, communications, and post deployment support. You will join a strong a team – learning and working together – and see the results of collaboration.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
  • Develop strong relationships across the organization, acting as a subject matter expert (SME) and trusted advisor on platform usage and capabilities
  • Partner with Business teams and Process Experts to identify operating metrics and develop insights to assist operations and sales teams
  • Capture requirements to ensure project outcomes add value to the enterprise
  • Engagement with System and Process experts to help identify solutions to business pain points
  • Engagement with Change Management team to plan for Change Management as needed for each initiative
  • Drive systems-related project execution in direct partnership with IT (system administrators and development scrum teams); measure and document business results achieved through solution implementation
  • Lead UAT business planning, execution, and go-live
  • Partner with project stakeholders, IT, and System Administrator teams to prepare for Go-Live and post-go live support
  • Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
  • Identifies gaps and provides technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost-effective manner.
  • May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.
  • Work with Business Unit leaders and team members to establish priority and impact of proposed improvements
  • Responsible for adjacent and supplemental technology research to further extend our enterprise CRM

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Adherence to all First United Policies and Procedures
  • Complete all required compliance exams on an annual basis
  • Assists in special projects as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned

EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS

Education and Work Experience
  • One to three years of similar or related experience required.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous banking industry, risk management, vendor management, audit, compliance, quality control or similar experience is a plus.

Required Experience and Skills
  • 3+ years of experience working within the Salesforce platform
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, or focus on project/program management
  • Bachelors’ degree in business, computer science or related field
  • Understanding of systems analysis & process analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and consider cross-functional and downstream impacts with close attention to detail

Preferred Experience and Skills
  • Process Re-Engineering, Project Management or Analytics role experience
  • AppExchange packages experience
  • Systems Analyst or Consulting experience
  • Salesforce Admin Certification
