The HT Group is partnering with one of the best manufacturing companies in Austin to find a top-notch Accounting Manager to assist the accounting team to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual close schedule. This position works with the Latin America subsidiary, and reports to the Assistant Controller.Key Responsibilities:Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries to be entered in the general ledgerPost all payroll hours to projectsEnsure that projects are set-up correctly in AX12Provide monthly reports to local tax accountantReconcile accounts, including sub-ledger and general ledger accountsReconcile bank and payroll accounts monthlyPrepare monthly and quarterly reports for upper managerPrepare quarterly commission calculation for salesmen and proceed with payment upon approvalPrepare regular forecasts for FP&A and Sales TeamPrepare supporting documents for quarterly and annual auditPerform SOX Controls as necessaryCommunicate with management on a regular basis on large projectsOther duties and special projects as requested by managementThere will be periodic travel to Mexico for this positionKey Qualifications:Bilingual in Spanish- RequiredBachelor?s degree in accounting or finance- RequiredCPA a plusWorking knowledge with GL and reporting AX12 is a plus
