The HT Group is currently hiring for a Maintenance Technician for a large manufacturer located in San Marcos, TX. This is a direct hire and will be a full time, salaried role.The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician must be able to troubleshoot, diagnosis, repair and maintain a variety of hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, electrical and electronic-based components and machinery. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance.Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMPay: Salary, DOELocation: San Marcos, TXResponsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:Perform highly diversified duties that will include, but are not limited to, installing and maintaining production machines and facility equipment.Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs on production equipment during production as well as perform scheduled maintenance repairsMechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.Diagnose problems, test and make adjustments.Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.May require to be on-call at times and to occasionally work during non-standard business hours. Schedule may need to be adjusted daily/weekly to accommodate company needs.Requirements:A minimum of 3 yearsin manufacturing maintenance experienceExperience repairing and diagnosing hydraulics, pneumatic systems, HVAC units and electrical and electronic componentsHigh school diploma or GEDThe completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an additional 2+ years of directly related work experienceMust be able to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb.Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
