The HT Group is currently hiring for a Production Coordinator/Supervisor located in San Marcos, TX. This is a direct hire and is a full time, salaried position.Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMSalary: DOEProduction Coordinator:The purpose of this role is to manage the daily activity of production personnel while maintaining a safe, organized environment to produce quality products efficiently and on-time while adhering to the company?s Quality Policy.Responsibilities:Oversee and monitor the performance and activities of employees and assure all personnel follow company policy and procedures on safety and productionPerform annual reviews for employees and follow company guidelines for personnel managementPlan, review and assign production orders for Sales and InventoryEstablish production schedules to ensure optimal efficiencyPerform tasks to aid in completion of production orders as neededRegularly inspect tools and equipment to assure optimal performanceDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures to assure quality and efficiencyRecommend and implement improvement of procedures and changes within product linesMonitor capacity to assure adequate staff is available and consult with management to assure a balanced work force is maintainedMonitor inventory and direct corrections in MRP to maintain accurate dataMaintain a clean and safe work environmentGuide and instruct to implement LEAN principles and sustain 5S practicesRequirements:2+ years of experience in manufacturing2+ years of experience in a managerial roleHigh School Diploma or GEDImpressive communication skillsAbility to lead by example and multitask efficiently
