Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Escort patient to exam room; obtain vitals, past/present medical history and current medication list
Prepare patient for procedure and/or exam
Compile prick testing and/or intradermal testing by following proper protocol and documenting results in
EHR
Complete allergy injection treatment form(s) in its entirety and document in Allmeds software
Perform a variety of both front and back office patient care activities in order to assist the providers and
front office staff
Adhere to OSHA requirements including universal precautions and sharps disposal guidelines
Skills and Knowledge:
Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, skin testing, and injection room procedures, and/or education as
directed by the provider
Knowledge of basic medical terminology
Skill in assisting in a variety of treatments and medications as directed
Understanding of common safety hazards and precautions to maintain a safe work environment
Ability to maintain effective working relationship with patients, medical staff and the public
Ability to react calmly and effectively in a difficult or emergent situation
Ability to communicate clearly
Typical Physical Demands:
Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting up to (50) lbs
Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time
Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer/keyboard at (50) wpm, calculator, telephone,
copier and fax
Requires, at times, possibly working under stressful conditions along with irregular hours
Working Relationships:
Demonstrates timely completion of duties
Assists co-workers in completion of duties when time allows
Shares information or concerns effectively with co-workers
Demonstrates working knowledge of the EHR computer system including charting
Offers ideas and solutions to problems and assists in implementation of solutions; continually looks for ways

Flexible schedules at times to assist with staffing needs
Participates in staff meetings and in-service programs as required
Maintains a neat and professional appearance
Maintains patient confidentiality at all times and upholds the employee handbook
Ability to demonstrate commitment to serve at all times

Compensation is an hourly base plus an opportunity to earn bonus based on company goals after one year of
employment.
