Meyer Energy Services is looking to hire Swampers for Guzzler/Supersucker operators:

Meyer Energy Services is looking to hire 4-6 Swampers to work with Guzzler/Supersucker operators to help with mud tank/mud pit/Frac tank cleaning on drilling and completions locations. There is an opportunity to move up in the company. The position is in the Midland, Texas Location working in West Texas and Southeast New Mexico.

Job Duties:

Acts as a safety lookout for the truck driver by giving him clear hand signals to avoid potential hazards whenever driver is required to back-up;

Hook up hoses with proper fittings (Camlocks, Hammer Unions, ect.)

Be able to drag 6 & 4 hoses for distances up to 100 feet as necessary

Be able to use hand tools;

Capable of working in the elements (High Summer Temperatures and Cold Winter Temperatures for long shifts)

Help maintain hose and fittings trailer and Guzzler/Supersucker

Learn hour to run Guzzler/SuperSucker on location (we will train)

Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Must be able to follow directions

Basic oilfield knowledge

Must be able to work seven days a week, on an on-call basis, including holidays. Must be able to work various shifts up to 15+ hours.

Must be able to lift 100 lbs.

Must be willing to get dirty.

Motivated/Positive Attitude/Works Well with others

Must have a valid Class A or B CDL permit with Clean Driving Record (no more than 3 violations in 3 years; no DWIs)

Must be able to pass a background check and drug & alcohol test

Compensation:

$16.00/hour

Health, Dental, Vision Insurance after 6 months (company covers $250 towards employee portion)

$25,000 of Basic Life Insurance (no cost to employee after 30 days)

Housing available at the yard (employees only) $100 per week rent for first 4 weeks. Free after 4 weeks cost covered by company.

Working Schedule:

2 weeks "on shift" Monday-Sunday (NO set working hours / you will be on call 24 hrs daily)

1 week "off shift"

You will be able to work through your 1 week "off shift" if you choose

No more than 5 consecutive work weeks. You will be required to take a week off. This is to prevent "burn out"

PPE:

MES will issue the following PPE (Unless you have your ownhard hat excluded) & will deduct from your 1st check.

MES hard hat (Required to have MES logo) - $15

Safety glasses - $2

Impact gloves - $15

H2S monitor - $87
