We are seekinga Legal Assistant Paralegalto become apart of our team!You will provideoverall support to attorneys' business needs.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with clients and assist in developing cases
Record and storeclient information
Assist with the drafting andreviewing of legal documents
Prepare subpoenas and organize documents
Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
Attend trials and hearings and assistattorneys with presentations
​Qualifications:
Previous experience as a paralegal or graduation from paralegal school
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Strong sense of organization
Attention to detail (this is important)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
This is a contract to full-time permanent job with approximately 20-30 hours per week initially due to Covid-19. Initial hourly compensation will depend on experience. You may be offered permanent, full-time employment after 6 months of evaluation and will be considered for a raise at that time.
