An exciting nursing leadership opportunity has just become available in Western Texas for the Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse Director! This hospital is seeking a strong nurse leader with cath lab experience to join their outstanding team.

This 300+ bed short term acute care hospital and designated Trauma Center offers a range of advanced medical services, including: 24/7 emergency services, cardiovascular services, intensive care, inpatient and outpatient surgery, women’s services, radiology, nuclear medicine, and imaging services. This non-profit community hospital is award-winning, and is known for its provision of excellent care to patients in the surrounding community area and beyond. This facility is also a designated teaching center, with a number of residents on staff.

The Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse Director will be responsible for oversight and management of the cardiac catheterization lab and neuro intervention lab, working alongside hospital leadership to effectively plan and facilitate care in these specialty care areas. The RN Director Cardiac Cath Lab will oversee a tight-knit team of RNs, ARRTs, physicians, and support staff, maintaining responsibility for staffing, scheduling, regulatory compliance, as well as continuing education and training in all assigned areas. The Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse Director will be supported by a highly trained team in order to succeed in this exciting role.

Requirements for this role include:

• RN Licensure in the state of Texas, BSN Degree, and Master’s Degree is preferred
• Specialty certifications highly preferred
• 3+ years of leadership experience in the cath lab and/or cardiovascular service line
